We would like to spark your interest with some of our featured applications.
OBC refers to "onboard computer."
OnBoard Express (c) is a Windows application that integrates with OBC
hardware that is only supported by a DOS application. The DOS application
provides a complete software package for monitoring a fleet. Driver daily logs,
vehicle statistics, driver statistics, mileage reports are included in a full onboard
computer system. OnBoard Express provides all of the
functionality of the DOS application - and more - only developed for the
Windows operating system. Our customers had a significant investment in the OBC
application and hardware, yet their IT systems continued to upgrade to new
hardware and operating systems. We developed OnBoard Express so they would not
have to purchase a new OBC system to work with their modernized operating systems, resulting in
considerable savings.
We've Developed Applications for these Industries:
Petroleum and Chemical
National petroleum marketing and distribution company with 22 terminals. Our
application calculates driver payroll as well as delivery statistics. The
application integrates with the corporate payroll system as well as their
central order system. Delivery information is uploaded into their central order
system to provide accurate target miles and hours. We've worked with this
company for 18 years and have integrated with four different OBC systems as
technology advanced. This application incorporates a significant amount of
compliance with state labor regulations and employment contracts with drivers,
resulting in dynamic development.
Multiple OBC Systems - This national petroleum marketing and distribution
company merged with a smaller company, resulting in one fleet with two
different OBC systems. They considered outfitting the entire fleet with one OBC
system, requiring a considerable financial investment as well
as resources to change out the OBC's. We developed an application that
seamlessly imported data from the two systems which resulted in considerable
savings.
Cryogenic
Dispatch - Predict tank levels using deliveries and readings. Orders are
generated by tanks approaching predicted re-order points. Routes are assembled
by zone and assigned to equipment and drivers. Tanks on the main screen are
color coded to provide a visual indication of status. Generates control and
delivery documents as well analysis and history reports. This application
considerably improved the company's ability to service their customers.
Food Producer
National company with 20 distribution centers. Our application calculates driver
payroll as well as delivery statistics. The application integrates with the
corporate payroll system as well as their routing application. We've worked with
this company for 16 years and have integrated with three different OBC systems as
technology advanced.
Dairy & Farm Pickup
Grocery
Manufacturing
Lumber and Building Products
Dedicated Contract Carriage
Multiple OBC Systems - Resulting from a consolidation of multiple carriers this
company had four different OBC systems in their fleet. Our application
consolidated the data from the different systems into one application. The
application generated reports of driver and vehicle efficiency as well as
delivery statistics.
Other Industries
RV Maintenance and Parts Inventory - Point of Sale system for parts which
integrates with bar code scanners and printers, cash drawers, touch screens, and
receipt printers. Maintains accounting for inventory. The software provider went
out of business so we developed a new application that worked with their
existing hardware saving them from having to purchase an entirely new system.
Onboard Computer Systems - We've done contract development for OBC
companies.
Bait & Tackle - Hand-held scanner based application. Driver would scan
items in a customer store and it would generate an order and print an invoice on
site. Download back at the home office would generate orders, invoices and
update QuickBooks.
Horse Racetrack - Pass system, which prevents multiple patrons from
entering using the same pass. The system also keeps track of attendance in order
to reissue annual passes and reward loyal customers.
