SanDC, Inc. was incorporated February 27th, 1992. The “DC” stands for data conversion. That is the primary function of our applications – to provide a bridge between dissimilar systems. The “San” prefix comes from San Diego, which is where one of our principal developers resides.

The principals of SanDC, Inc. have worked in the transportation industry for many years. We are familiar with every aspect of the industry. We've worked in aviation and trucking but choose to focus on trucking - especially onboard computer integration.

The founder of SanDC, Inc. worked as the Chief Financial Officer for a trucking company. The company was one of the 10 original companies exempted from paper logs by the DOT. He quickly recognized the value of the data that can be extracted from onboard computers. He developed programs that fed the billing system and general ledger, allowing the office staff to become auditors guaranteeing accuracy rather than simply entering data. He also developed reports that analyzed delivery times, changes in volume and utilization, and many others that helped the company provide exceptional service for its customers. Within five years, the volume of business increased by 300% without an increase in administrative staff, but with a significant reduction in billing errors.

From the beginning, SanDC began development of a framework that was flexible enough to provide similar services for multiple companies without compromising the unique business rules and processes that give each company its competitive edge. Our customers design the processes and reports, and they are encapsulated in their specific version of the application framework. There is no sharing or exposing of any proprietary information between customers. This is what separates us from other trucking software providers. We also keep any correspondence, algorithms, data, and discussion strictly confidential unless approved by our customer.

Eighteen years and over one hundred customers later, we continue to do what we do best. We are proud of the variety of industries in which we have worked and applications our customers have hired us to develop.
